Five years ago, our world changed. On December 21, 2012 at 11:11am Greenwich Time, a mysterious event occurred that shut down all electronic technology for 1 minute and 17 seconds. After that alarming blip, most electronics returned to normal. However, all traces of the Internet vanished, and computer networks only functioned if the devices were in close, wired proximity to each other. The freedom, speed, and open access of the Internet was gone.

Some of us lost contact with friends who we only knew digitally. Others of us lost our jobs and way of life. As monolithic corporations and institutions scrambled to adapt, smaller companies and communities quickly changed in order to survive. When mass production failed to give us new things, we learned how to recycle and re-purpose what we once considered clutter and junk. Carrying weapons became commonplace, as unreliable technology meant that one could not always rely on the police arriving on time, if at all.

Little did we know that the universe had one more surprise in store for us: to reveal that we more than ‘human’.

Join us for our first Alpha Test!

We reserved the island at Keller Regional Park (shelter #1).  Suggested donation is $5+.  We welcome those who are willing and able to contribute more, but we also want to make this event financially accessible.

Funds will be used to cover the following expenses:

  • Site rental (renting the park island cost us $100)
  • Props & incidentals (snacks, water, etc.)
  • Commissioning character concept art (we don’t believe in paying with “exposure”)

This alpha test will cover character creation, one of the new player opening scenarios, our combat system, and our crafting system. There will be time throughout the alpha test to provide feedback.

Update (7/23/2017): We now have rules for boffer weapon construction. Those rules can be found her:  Boffer-Requirements-Sidereal

The island (Shelter #1) is across the service bridge near the parking lot. Handicap accessible toilets are on-site (by the parking lot). The park has a shelter with electricity (for crock pots and such) and 2 grills. Here is the map to the location: It is on the intersection of Highway 61 and County Road B
